Hi, I’m Michaela—the face behind Michaela Elizabeth Photography! Before I ever picked up a camera, I spent 22 years in the equestrian world. Horses have been a huge part of my life, and they taught me so much about patience, connection, and appreciating life’s little moments.

 

Naturally, when I started photographing, it only made sense to begin with equine photography—I wanted to freeze the bond between horse and rider in a way that felt real and timeless.

What started in the barn quickly grew into something so much bigger. I fell in love with capturing people’s stories—whether it’s the laughter during a portrait session or the once-in-a-lifetime joy of a wedding day. Now, I get to blend my equestrian roots with a passion for documenting love, life, and everything in between.
